We’re Suz and Elana, moms, friends,  food delivery industry veterans, co-authors of a cookbook (Plated, check it out!), and two people who are just really obsessed with delicious food. And the special feeling you get when your fridge is full, and you feel well taken care of.

Our mission is simple: create the most usable, flexible, and absolutely delicious food delivery on the market. We know every week looks completely different, which is why we offer weekly changing, always a la carte menus without ever requiring a subscription. We’re here to complement your routine, not compete with it.

Great food starts with great ingredients.Think antibiotic and hormone-free chicken, grass-fed ground beef and prime hanger steak, organic dirty dozen produce, Faroe Island salmon, and sourcing from local farms. Everything is made with care in our New York City kitchen and hand-delivered to your door less than 24 hours after it’s been prepared to provide the highest quality experience.

2013

Suzanne and Elana met while working at Plated, the meal-kit company. Over four years, they developed over 2,000 recipes and co-authored a cookbook, Plated, published by Random House in 2015 (written nights and weekends at the Marlton Hotel in NYC!)

April 2019

Suzanne opened Three Owls Market in the West Village: part deli, part café, part catering kitchen - and entirely an ode to prepared foods.

2021

Struggling to keep a brick-and-mortar store alive during Covid, Suzanne experimented with delivering her prepared foods around the city. She called it ‘Stocked by Three Owls’ and it quickly took off; soon the café dining room became a packing facility.

2022

After three wonderful years, Suzanne closed the doors to Three Owls Market and went all in on Stocked. Aside from missing the BECs, she’s never looked back!

December 2023

Suzanne brought Elana on as co-founder and COO. With the duo back together, Stocked went into hyper growth mode.

More sold-out weeks than we ever imagined, a growing team we’re so proud of, and road trips to 15+ suburbs to spread the Stocked love.

Present Day

A big move into our very own kitchen (after outgrowing 3 shared ones), and we’re just getting started! We’ve got big plans, and we can’t wait for you to come along for the ride.
